“ Absolute essential item if you're working on car suspension or steering.
This tool saved me a lot of time and effort.It popped my track rod end off in seconds.
As an added bonus it also popped out the ball joint pin on my Vauxhall Omega front wishbone.
To get the wish-bone off I placed an old nut on top of the ball pin and then simply attached the tool around the steering knuckle,nose of the lifter on top of the nut and the fork end(bottom) around the balljoint.
As the pin shaft is very narrow I had to keep adding extra nuts into the hole to push it out further until it eventually popped out.
The tie lifter isn't made for that particular purpose (wish bone) but its adaptable and for me personally it was perfect for the job.
I would highly recommend this tool to the D.I.Y mechanic as its good quality, very strong and the price was very good.The same tool (different make) at my local motor factor is retailing at �17.99 so I'm well pleased with my purchase.
I usually buy top brand tools for the lifetime guarantee as my motto is "if you buy cheap,you buy twice" but this is the exception to the rule.
